P&P Non-Ferrous have been distributing non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, brass, bronze, copper and stainless steel throughout the UK for over 40 years. Founded in 1983 by Phil and Paul, who met at West Bromwich Albion football club and devised a plan to sell nuts and bolts. From there P&P started to stock bronze to make bronze bushes, and other yellow metals followed.
P&P Non-Ferrous soon became renowned as a reliable source for metal materials from our base in the heart of the UK in the West Midlands. Originally based in Kingswinford in 1983, then on to Brierley Hill in the late 1980s where brass, copper and aluminium plate were introduced as stocked products, P&P then moved across town to Moor Street in Brierley Hill as popularity of the brand mounted. And we have been in the local area ever since!
Over the years P&P’s extensive inventory and commitment to quality has made us a reliable source for metal materials in the UK, which has seen the business grow from strength to strength. Metal businesses such as Sheffield Metals & Plastics in 2011, Abacus Tubes in 2013, Ravenace Metals in 2017 and C.G. Rees (Supply) in 2019 were acquired and became part of the P&P family, amassing a wealth of experience and knowledge to grow the business, and enjoying an enviable reputation for fast, efficient service.

In a strategic move to bolster our position in the industry, P&P Non-Ferrous announced the successful acquisition of Ferrari Stainless & Alloys Ltd. in Wimborne in July 2003. This new acquisition opened up a gateway to enhanced customer services and expansion in the South of England, joining our head office in the Midlands as our main stockholding and processing unit, together with our dedicated distribution centre in Bristol and sales office in Essex.
In December 2021, P&P Non-Ferrous became part of the Steel Dynamics Group – a family of four companies relentlessly working together to reduce our customer’s costs and enabling UK manufacturing to flourish.
